Anyone try to boot from a jaz drive?

We're working on a device driver for a funky network (myrinet), and
have toasted the disk on our running system once so far.

We want to have a "backup" boot device, and a Jaz drive sounds like an
option. However, I haven't heard of anyone using a Jaz drive on an
Alpha (250-4/266) as a boot device.

Does anyone know if this is possible?
