xdm doesn't start

Hi

Our Dec resalers lend us a alphastation 255 with a PBXGB-CA graphics boards.
I install DEC 3.2-D2 and the system doesn't start with xdm.

When i try to start xdm manually, i means '/sbin/init.d/xdm start' command,
i receive the following message

Creating DECnet socket: Protocol not supported
VGA: cannot find device-specific library for PMAX-CFB
Could not AddScreen, ID = PMAX-CFB

Fatal server error:
no screens found


the sizer command return the following information

# sizer -wt
0
# sizer -wu
0
# sizer -wc
2 # the man page specifies 0 or 1 ???
# sizer -wk
PCXAL
# sizer -wp
PCXAS
# sizer -gt
PMAX-CFB
# sizer -gr
10240x10240
#
