Hello managers,
We're attempting to hook a TLZ06 in an external enclosure onto the
bus of an Alpha 3000. The drive is hooked off of the back of a
storage works 3 bay shelf and the SCSI id is set at 5, which is not
conflicting with anything else. I've created devices nrmt0h and
rmt0h in the /dev directory with rw permissions for all.
When I attempt to dump to the tape drive I get "unable to open
device". Everything appears to be in order, yet there must be
something missing. Does anyone have any pointers on this matter?
