SUMMARY: BIND-TO-KEY in .cshrc or .profile

    The overwhelming suggestion was to put the bind-to-key statement in a
    file called .bindings in the user home directory. It worked!!!!
    
    Other recommendations including using tsch instead of csh and use
    ctrl-v in VI as the quote key.
    
    I created the following line in the .bindings file:
    
    bind-to-key FilenameListOrEof "\^D"
