SUMMARY - HSZ40's

Thanks to a number of people who responded to my questions about dual
host and dual redundant HSZ40's. They pointed me to a tri-link
connector (a "Y" SCSI connector).

They also suggested looking at the "DECsafe ASE Hardware configuration
guide" which is on the 3.2D distribution media.

As to the questions about mounting the same RAID sets from different
hosts - (most suggested going through something like ASE) - it seems
like you can do it, but probably don't want to unless you can control
access or live with the consequences. The question was raised as a
crude (but creative) way to address common storage for systems on two
different networks (in front of and behind a firewall) where the main
concern is not the passing of data, but the isolation of systems.

thanks to all those who responded. I appreciate your taking the time
to answer!
