Floppys and their formats

Hi all,
   I'm running a DEC 3000, 700 and am running DU 3.2. I've got
an internal floppy drive installed. I am trying to figure out
how to utilize this drive. I need to find the driver and the
correct filesystem format to mount. I am hoping to use this
drive to read disks written by DOS. Please point me in the
right direction.
