Hello Managers:
Once again, the list comes through in the hour of need. As it turns out, the
problem was the case of the Usernames. Since the Unix UID was in lowercase,
and VMS's UID was case independant, I made the mistaken assumption that the
VMX UCX entry was also case independant. I was very wrong.
To add the case specific ID's to the UCX entry, Mr. D. Del Merrit suggested
the following:
UCX>add proxy dpeters /remote="dpeters" /host=unixhost
Once the Quotes were placed around the remote user's ID, the RSH command
worked like a charm. Thanks Del.
