HELP: Trimming binary logger files

Is there a way to truncate the binary logger files ? I read in the
administration manual that there is a way to get rid of ASCII log files
after a certain amout of time, but I'm wondering how to diminish the size of
the binary log files. I would like to keep only the last x days, or the last
y events or the lasz z KBytes.
