Telnet problem

I am having some trouble telnetting to our Alpha here running Digital Unix
3.2c. I am able to telnet from Macs and PC's fine. I just tried it from
an SGI and I get connection closed or from rlogin, Protocol error. From
this same SGI I can telnet with no problem to our DecSystem.
