I have a DEC7000 with 2 CPUs and 1GB memory. It is running Digital Unix
3.2d. Recently, it encounter the following messages in the kern.log files
:
May 21 21:11:22 merlion vmunix: task table is full
May 21 21:11:33 merlion last message repeated 33 times
May 21 21:48:38 merlion vmunix: task table is full
May 21 21:58:42 merlion last message repeated 222 times
May 21 22:08:43 merlion last message repeated 972 times
May 21 22:15:14 merlion last message repeated 218 times
May 21 22:23:27 merlion last message repeated 75 times
May 21 22:38:49 merlion last message repeated 193 times
May 21 22:39:35 merlion last message repeated 98 times
May 21 22:58:25 merlion last message repeated 87 times
May 21 23:28:57 merlion last message repeated 72 times
I have about 30,000 users on the DEC7000. The above seems to be caused
when I tried to mass mail to all the 30,000 users from another machine
using sendmail.
How can I increase the task table size ?
