Regards,
The reason I didn't post a summary about the above subject is that the
answers I got did not quite fulfill my expectations. This causes me to post
a followup, a bit more accurate this time. First, a recap: I need to alter
some tcp timers. The timers to alter on the Sun system side is called
tcp_rexmit_interval_min and tcp_rexmit_interval_initial. However, doing a
'nm' on /vmunix all I see regarding tcp and xmit is tcp_xmit_timer. Are
there other kernel variables (similar to those on the Sun side) regarding
tcp retransmission I can alter ??
The system is a 2100 running standard ethernet (Tulip interface) and 3.2C.
