Where are the performance bottlenecks for Alpha AXP's running the
Netscape Commerce Server 1.12 with high volume internet traffic?
We are evaluating network performance for a variety of Alpha AXP's
running DEC UNIX 3.2C, which run DEC's seal firewall and internally
Alpha 1000 and 2100 webservers. Some of these machines have
fddi network controllers, others have only tulip or lance ethernet
controllers.
Due to security restrictions, I cannot login. So instead of
monitoring performance or running benchmarks (too costly),
perhaps some of you with experience and access have already
identified performance problems.
