Hello OSF Manangers,

I have a serial printer connected to the terminal and not to a
server. I cannot connect this printer to server as serial port is not
empty. My problem is, how I can send print request to this printer.
I am able to send the print request from terminal to printer
connected through parallel port, by using certain escape sequences.
Similarly I want to do it for serial port. I am not much interested in
sending it to lpq (lp spooler). Many unix flavour (SCO) provides the
command lprint, but digital UNIX is not having it.

Any body has any clue, suggestion, knowledge for doing this.

Your help would be appriciated.

Thanks in advance and I will summarize.
