Hi managers,

I have recently installed Dec-Pascal 5.4 and have linking and compiling
problems. I ran the following command which generated the following output:

# setld -v DPOBASE540

DEC Pascal V5.4-40 for Digital UNIX Systems (DPOBASE540)

DPOBASE540: warning: It appears that you do not have
DFARTL installed. DFARTL is required to link and
        run DEC Pascal compiled programs.

Please be *sure* to install DFARTL before running
the IVP (setld -v) and trying to use DEC Pascal.
setld: ivp failed.
# man DFARTL
There is not an entry for DFARTL.

What I'm asking is what is DFARTL? Is it part of the D-UNIX O/S or is it
part of pascal?

Thanks for any help!!!

Paul
