Hello managers.
I'm about to set up a log-host on my LAN. Since I get more and more machines to
take care of and noone to help me I want to have all logs on one machine.
This can be done with just a simple modification in /etc/syslog.conf, f.ex:
On workstation 1:
mail.debug _at_loghost
On loghost:
mail.debug /var/adm/syslog.dated/mail.log
On the loghost it will be placed in the file /var/adm/syslog.dated/mail.log.
But since I have 12 machines it will be _very_ much information in the files...
I want to be able to log each machine's info into separate files. I've read the
manual-pages but no luck...
TIA
