Large disks and partitions under Digital Unix

I am interested in replacing an aging crochety drive on
my Alpha 3000/600, and would like to solve my space problems as
well. I would like to purchase and install one of the new ~9 GB
drives, since SCSI addreeses are in short supply. I have a few
questions before doing this.

1) Is there a 2.0 GB limit on partition sizes in Digital Unix?
(I am now running 3.2c).

2) Are there any other caveats when installing large drives on DU?

Thanks!
