Good morning Gurus!
I asked:
On startup...we are getting a message (generally in the ufs_fsck -p area)
that says: WARNING: iget, dinode no.3016 changed. Any ideas? It is generally
associated with one drive in particular, though sometimes it shows up before
or after the ufs_fsck -p.
I only received two answers to date and both Paul A Sand <pas_at_unh.edu> and
Tom Barkanic <intrepid!tb_at_uunet.uu.net> report the same occurrence since
upgrading. While the fact they have been running well and I am experiencing
no significant problems, I assume that it is not a huge problem. However, I
prefer to see a nice clean boot. Digital, what is this? Is it correctable?
Further, I noticed that since our upgrade that it takes FIVE minutes for
%shutdown -r now to take effect. This also happens on our library system
(running at 3.2)...how can I change this?
Thanks for your expertise!
Sheryl
