How to print in LANDSCAPE on hpIV by default ??

Hi -- your help appreciated....

We've got a bunch of hpIV (via Jetdirect cards) printers -- what
do I need to do so that, by default, they print in LANDSCAPE
instead of PORTRAIT.

I'm guessing this has something to do with filters & printcaps.
Can I setup a filter of some sort to send the "set printer to
LANDSCAPE" escape sequence to the printers before they print ?

Thanks in advance for advice, example scripts, printcaps.
