SUMMARY: PCI ethernet to recognize BNC

Thanks for the overwhelming response. Thanks to you I'm writing this from
our ressurected Alpha 400.

My question was (in essence):
        After a complete power-out my ethernet card was booting up in AUI
        mode. How do I change it to BNC.

You answered quickly:

        1. boot the system down to the >>> prompt
        2. check the current settings with >>> sho ewa0_mode
        3. change it with >>> set ewa0_mode BNC
