Uh-oh...
Per my last request, which had to do with removing a message at startup
telling me WARNING: iget, dinode no.3016 changed, I received a couple of
answers which told me to re-make my /dev/null device by entering:
rm /dev/null
cd /dev; MAKEDEV null
Well, I did this, and the horrible Unix monster told me this:
% ROOT admin::/dev> ./MAKEDEV /null
MAKEDEV: special file(s) for /null:
MAKEDEV: unknown device in: /null
I checked, and I no longer have a /dev/null! What do I do? Is this critical?
How do I fix it? YIKES! Any help is appreciated, revered, and graciously
sought. Thanks!
Sheryl
