We have a 2100 4/275 (5/300 chip currently installed) running
Digital Unix 3.2D-1. Twice now we have run into a problem with
the console keyboard not responding. It is still receiving power
(the Num Lock light is on) and when we go to the halt prompt, it
    starts working again.

    Two questions:

Does anybody know what might be causing the OS to stop responding
    to the keyboard?

Does anybody know of a way to re-connect to the keyboard without
    shutting the system down.
