Text/html editor for X-Windows?

Hi managers,

I am looking for two things (which might be combined in the same package)

1) A decent X-Windows text editor. We have struggled with notepad in 3.2
and this is riddled with bugs. Does anyone know of another editor and where
to ftp it from? ( My users also hate Vi & emacs!)

2) I am looking for a decent html editor for X-Windows - anyone know of one
and again, where to ftp it from?
