To sum up correct responses and what I was able to learn from the DEC
WWW areas, I got the wrong drives. I already had an 8 bit controller.
They sold me an 8-bit StorageWorks box and a set of 16 bit drives.
I'm not sure if the box would work if I changed the controller,
or added an adapter. So I hope to get the correct drives.

I wish they'd use a more consistent way of referring to the different
SCSI types. I'm not sure what all the correct terminology is, but there
is 2 or 3 ways of referring to many of them (and DEC literature uses ALL
the possible combinations). Many appear to be compatible, but if it
doesn't explicitly say so, one can't assume.

Thanks again for the wonderful help.
Karl
