Hello to all people :
Im interested to install the INN1.4sec news server into a Digital Alpha
Dec 2000 with OSF/1 ver 3.2c. This equipment has a 5 GBytes of hard
disk and 128Mbytes of RAM.
I'm having some problems with the compilation and configuration of this
program, which source was taken from ftp.uu.net//networking/news/nntp/inn
however that I have read the INN Configuration FAQ of Tom Limoncelli and of
course the Install.ms.
I have not find any specifically information over how to install and to
configure in the OSF/1 operating system.
As a example, in the file waitnb.c when I run the BUILD script, it appear
the followings messages.
/usr/lib/cmplrs/cc/cfe: Error: waitnb.c, line 25: storage size for 'w'
isn't known
WAITER w;
/usr/lib/cmplrs/cc/cfe: Error: waitnb.c, line 37: Reference an expression
of void type or an incomplete type.
*statusp = (((((w) & 0177 ) == 0) ? (((w) >> 8) & 0377) : -1));
Could be a installation problem ?
It is a missing library ?
I'll thank very much yours suggestion about how to configure the
config.data file, how to configure the program, or when I can find
additional information about this matter.
