What we have: du 3.2c, alpha 2000, DESserver 500 V2.2, LAT V5.1, hp5si.

I set up the lat port on the 2000 with the following command
        /usr/sbin/latcp -A -p 624 -H SERV01 -R lc-1-9

I set up a printer queue on the alpha 2000 (/etc/printcap);
        lp10|10|printer2:\
                :lf=/usr/adm/lp10err:\
                :lp=/dev/lat/624:\
                :mx#0:\
                :of=/usr/lbin/lpf:\
                :pl#66:\
                :pw#80:\
                :sd=/usr/spool/lpd10:\
                :xf=/usr/lbin/xf:

regular text streams print out on the page ok. the <esc> codes are not.
someone is taking out all of hp's pcl <esc> codes some where along the line.

any suggestions on where i should look to fix this problem? so that all
control charters will make it to the printer?

Thank you for your time.
