Problem with sendmail after upgrading to DU 4.0

Hello,

I was quite happy after upgrading to DU 4.0 from 3.2c but after some few
minutes, the mail sent to this mailserver was rejected with user unknown for
every user defined in /var/adm/sendmail/aliases.

A diff command on sendmail.cf and sendmail.cf.PreMRG gives the following
result:

81d80
< FN/var/adm/sendmail/local.users %[^#]
409c408
< Mlocal, P=/bin/mail, F=lsDFMmnu, S=10, R=20, A=mail -r $f -d $u

> Mlocal,       P=/bin/mail, F=rlsDFMmn, S=10, R=20, A=mail -r $f -d $u
The problem was comming from the line : FN/var/adm/sendmail/local.users %[^#].
With this line each user defined in the aliases file should also be in the
local.users file.
Why this ? In removing this line all is working fine again .
The other difference shows that there is a supplementary flag r with /bin/mail.
What is the use of this flag ?
