Is there a free tool to prepare Product Kits

     Hi managers,
     
     We are using the couple Kits/setld to prepare our product kits.
     
     1) Does anyone know a free tool that does the same thing on all the
     platforms DEC/SUN/HP/IBM... ?
     
     2) Does anyone know any distribution tool (same as rdist) ?
