Hello Managers

Alpha 200
D-UNIX 3.2a
dPOP
Eudora 1.5.2

I am have the problem that sendmail appears to be over-riding Eudora in
inserting additional domain info in the reply-to field. This additional
info then gets used when a person tries to reply to a user at my domain.
The address doesn't resolve and the message bounces.

e.g.

I enter

mac_at_hsrc.org.uk

in the Eudora settings 'Return Address' field

yet when the message arrives with the sender the return address has been
appended to and now looks like:

mac_at_hsrc.org.uk.pipex.net

This address does'nt resolve and mail gets lost!

Is there something that I need to do in the setup of sendmail i.e. edit
sendmail.conf - or any other change that I can make to stop this appending
occuring?

Thanks for any help

Paul Key
