After installation of DUX V4.0 and Networker 3.2 on an
AlphaStation 200 4/166, I noticed that the nsrd-daemon was getting in a
loop. No matter how long I waited, this daemon kept using the cpu
for 100%. Shutting down with nsr_shutdown didn't help. I had to kill
it by hand.
Another thing is that this new version of Networker would not startup
with the previous nsr.res-file. When starting networker the nsrd-daemon
simply dies immediately.
So I started from crash and created everything new. The backup of the
first 4 clients succeeded, but then nsrd started looping now and then.
Anyone seen this too??
BTW, the nsr-directory is (and has always been) on an advfs-partition.
In the last 2 years I never had any problems with it.
