Hello,
Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but:
We've recently expanded memory on two of our alphastation 250 4/266's
to 192M and 256M respectively. However, a single program cannot
allocate more than 128M -- whether compiling with gcc or cc, attempts
to allocate more than 128M within one program fail. Using a system
command like 'ps auxe' shows that the system knows it has 256 M, and
several programs together can occupy more than 128M of real memory.
Does anyone know what is wrong, or how to find out and/or fix it?
I am not a regular reader of this list so please cc any replies to me,

Thanks very much for any help.
