Savecore Issue During Bootup

Platform: Alpha 2100 5/250
OS: osf 3.2b

Question: During the boot process (e.g. shutdown -r now) , the message
"savecore: can't get diskinfo of /dev/rz2b" appears.
I recently added a second swap and the following line is in /etc/fstab
"/dev/rz2b swap2 ufs sw 0 2".

Can someone give me some insight into what's possible wrong?
