more questions on upgrades, and some info

This is to inform users who don't already know. One of my newer systems
is an Alphastation 250-4/266. A couple months ago, I got the upgrades
for DU 4.0, and a firmware upgrade CD-ROM v3.5. Sometime this week, I
got an upgrade for DU 3.2g, and firmware CD-ROM v3.6. I guess my first
question is which OS upgrade should I install with which firmware?
The second is a repeat: None of the firmware documentation ay anything
about the AS 250-4/266. The closest is the AS 255-4/266. Do I use the
this firmware for my 250-4/266 system?

A little background on the next bit of info. Those of you near the
West Coast may have been affected by that power outage on Saturday.
My AS 250-4/266 was taken down abruptly with abunch of other stuff.
When the power returned, it booted up fine, with the exception that the
ethernet no longer functioned. I traced the problem down to our twisted
pair hub, which was on a PDU that did not come up automatically, so when
the workstation was coming up, it saw no connectability over the TP line,
and automatically switched over to the AUI connection. This it did
despite the EWA0_MODE conole variable being explicitly set to Twisted-Pair.
I was always under the impression that that console setting was pretty
rigid; that what it was set to was what will be used when the system was
booted. Apparently not. After powering up the TP hub, I rebooted the
workstation, and it came up with the correct (TP) connection enabled,
and all network services resumed.
