Q: swap partition fstype?

While trying to track down the cause of recent hardware errors,
I found inconsistencies in the disklabels of our disks. For
the fstype of the swap partition, I find either "4.2BSD" or
"unused" in DU3.2x machines, and "swap" in the DU4.0 machine.

Does DU care what fstype is listed for the swap partition?
And if so, what do I do? I could edit the disklabel easily
enough, but does something need to be done to the disk?
