nis client

hi there,

        I have a problem with my sun nis client for which the server is a
dec unix machine.
sun is a 4.1.4 os and dec is 3.2c. I cannot use the same passwd's from the
server's nis maps on sun to login. How do I fix this problem. Any idea's.
