probably summarize all of your names in a nice little

vendor. Several vendors also replied, which is a good
sign, I think, I don't take it as SPAM that the guys
are hustling, rather, that they're actually a part of

If you are looking for single CPU systems - you might consider going
the route of a Linux for Alpha hardware vendor. They have Digital
motherboards, and prices for memory and disk will be much better then
a "real" Digital route. Just make sure they know you will be running
Digital Unix on the system so they don't sell you things that are only
supported under Linux. The Linux Journal usually has a number of ads
for Alpha vendors.

My guess is this is going to be different by region; I've heard there are
several, but Wyle seems to dominate the northwest---certainly Alaska!
In my dealings with Wyle, I've always found them to be knowledgeable and
sometimes they've been able to beat DEC deliveries out of their own
