INN "Socket operation on non-socket"

Hi,

I'm trying to set up INN 1.4 unoff 4 on an AlphaServer 400 4/233
running DEC UNIX V3.2-D-1.

I can read news, but when I try to do a post my newsreader tells me
there was an error, and the INN log file says "Socket operation on
non-socket".

Thereafter, news.daily stops with the same message.

Any ideas ?
