My original post asked if anyone knew of a bug in DU 4.0's version of
/usr/opt/ultrix/usr/bin/make. I got no useful responses. I tried
copying make from a DU 3.2c machine to my DU 4.0 machine. It seems to
work fine and bug free. Since this version seems to work I'm going to
stick with it. If anyone ever does hear of a patch for make in DU 4.0
please post the info to the list.
