how to get rid of crontab job output

Hello to all,

another problem from a newbie:
I'm "mirroring" out mailing-server via the crontab and rdist.

each time the job has finished (all 10 minutes), root gets a mail about
the job:


Subject:
   Date: Tue, 10 Sep 1996 09:20:29 +0100
   From: system PRIVILEGED account <root>


updating host mailer2
updating: /usr/var/spool/mail/cm
updating: /usr/var/spool/mail/hausen
updating: /usr/var/spool/mail/rh
updating: /usr/var/spool/mail/bonhoeff
updating: /usr/var/spool/mail/geisler
updating: /usr/var/spool/mail/sinfbio
updating: /usr/var/spool/mail/schume
updating: /usr/var/spool/mail/kai

Cron: The previous message is the standard output
      and standard error of one of your cron commands.



How can I get rid of these messages??
