Netscape Navigator 3.0

I've just installed Netscape Navigator 3.0 on my 3000 300LX, and
now Java applets don't work any more...they didn't with the
3.0 beta versions either. They did work with 2.02 however.

They work o.k. on a Sun sparc running Netscape Navigator 3.0.

Is there something up with NN 3.x for Digital Unix? Should I go
back to 2.02?
