Hello,
A user here had compiled Fortran code on an AlphaServer 2100 running 3.2D-1,
using the DXML libraries and High-Performance Scalar libraries. The versions
are as follows:
Fortran DFABASE400
DXML XMDLOA320
High-Performance Scalar libraries PSESHPF107
When we upgraded the 2100 to 4.0, the code was re-compiled, but failed to
load, giving the error:
DECthreads bugcheck (version V3.13-434), terminating execution.
Failure initializing the manager thread tcb
The version that was compiled under DU 4.0 was tested on an AXP 3000/300
running DU 3.2C and the same layered product versions, and ran fine.
Also, compiling on the AXP 3000/300 3.2C machine and trying to load it
on the AlphaServer 2100 DU 4.0 machine again results in the same
DECthreads bugcheck error.
I've opened a service call with DEC, and CSC is referring it to their
Engineering Research group.
Does anyone have any insights or suggestions to share?
