format of sendmail.cw in Sendmail 8.7.5

I am trying to use sendmail.cw in sendmail 8.7.5
I believe this is just a text file with one entry per line
listing the aliases for sendmail equivalent to the Cw macro
But I would like to make sure :)

can someone validate or invalidate this ?
