Subnet mask in route entries.

Hi,

        I'm in the process of subneting a Class C and I'm having problems getting
the "route" command to accept a net mask. I currently use the following
command to add a route for the entire class C and I need to change this
because it has been split into a couple of segments of my system.

 "route add -net 205.205.18.0 205.205.255.3"

I looked in "man route" and couldn't find anything about masks for
networks.
