"DO" and"Remove" keys not functioning in DU 4.0

Greetings,

from a DU 3.2 machine rlogin to a vms machine the "DO" and "REMOVE" function
properly. From a DU 4.0 rlogin to a vms machine, these key do not work. Nothing
happens.

vms says the term is a vt200_family
DU 4.0 says it is a dtterm

How do I define these key to work ?
