[SUMMARY] adding memory to an alpha 3000/600

thanks to all those who responded. the answer was that a memory
"bank" does NOT correspond to a "card" in the 3600, it consists of a
combination of simms from top or bottom "tiers" across a pair of
cards. (i figured it was something wierd like this.) this is
outlined nicely in the 3600 options manual, which i didn't have last
week.
