Help,
Some nameless DEC reseller sold us a WINDOWS NT Alpha 2100 4/275
server with a Digital unix licence with the Number nine Graphics
Engine 9GXE card for driving a super VGA monitor. Apparently it was cheaper
to do this than to get a unix configured system !

This graphics card worked fine with Digital unix versions thru to 3.2C
as a graphics console.
Well it would not be auto configured but a line in the configuration
file :-

controller vga0 at ibus0 slot ? vector vgaintr

worked the magic.

Now I've installed DU 4.0 this trick does not work !
Can it be made to work ? I still have an identical machine on DU 3.2C
Can I copy some driver file over from the 3.2C version ?
I know it would not be supported - but then it wasn't supported for DU
at all !

Any ideas ? Failing that what would I order as a replacement graphics card?
Would I have to change the monitor as well ? Sigh & TIA
