Can't use CTRL-C with telnet !

Hi,

I just noticed that I can't use CTRL-C to stop a program with my telnet
application (EWAN). I also tried with other telnet apps and the behavior is
the same.

Here is a example:

A system admin (by error) types the following command while being logged
with the telnet application:

uerf -R (binary.errlog is 7 Mb long, he forgot the '| more')

Seeing this, he presses CTRL-C repeatedly -> Nothing happens, it scrolls and
it scrolls and it scrolls.

On the console and in a DXterm, everything is just fine. Why doesn't it work
with a telenet connection and is there a way to fix it ? I suppose thats a
peculiarity of the telnet protocol...

                                        TIA
