C2 SECURITY

Hi,

My system is running DU 3.0. I have both C2 security and NIS configured.
However, XIsso is displaying an error message "Name not found" when a
user is selected from the drop down list. The user existed in both the
/etc/passwd and /var/yp/src/passwd files. I have tried removing the
user(s) from the /var/yp/src/passwd and prpasswd file. However, the same
error message is displayed. I have also tried removing the user from the
/etc/passwd file and running the "map.script" program (from the Security
Manual) to create the prpasswd file --- Error still occurs. Any ideas
as to why this may be happening ?

Also, I know a patch exist for the rpc.lockd daemon for users of DU 3.0.
Does anyone know though if the rpc.lockd file that comes with DU 3.2C
will work and fix the problem if installed under DU 3.0.

Thanks

Susan
