Hi, Everyone:
Could someone help me with this?
I am trying to create a print filter on a Solaris 2.5 SPARC 20. I put the
filter definition file under /etc/lp/fd and ran the lpfilter command to
correctly put the entry into /etc/lp/filter.table. I did check the
Input/Output/Printer types in the definition file and they match my
specificications
for the printer queue by running the lpadmin command. The filter command file
that I used is a Korn shell script which adds some escape sequences to the
printer for the desired printing format (e.g. landscape, landscape compressed,
portrait compressed, etc.)
However, that does not work! Nothing prints out. Am I missing something?
Should the filter command file be a "binary" executable?
Could someone points to me the right direction? Thanks!
Regards,
Ed Chang
