Swap space

Hi,

I am trying to increase swap space on my DEC alpha running DU 3.2c.
Everything I've read up on swap space, (which isn't too much), says that
I might need to redo the entire partitioning scheme on the hard drive.

Though this makes sense, since there may not be extra room on the drive
for a larger swap partition, I would like to know if there's an easier
way to increase swap. I do know the on DEC VMS boxes, there's some way
to do just this, which is, to increase swap without having to mess
around with the rest of the partitions.

Thanks
