Setting up SNMP with a UPS

     Hi --

I've been looking around for documentation on how to setup a UPS
(Liebert, UPStation S) to work with a few Alpha machines (2100s, etc)
that we have so if there is a power failure then the Alphas will shut
     down.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find any good documentation out there.
I've collected the appropriate MIB files from Liebert, and am not sure
how to get things running and up to speed.

I've setup a bootp server, but I receive the following error:
     bootpd[21480]: file not found
     bootpd[21480]: file .liebertups not found

in /etc/bootptab, I have the following:

     liebertups:ht=1:ha=0000681123100:ip=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:gw=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
     :sm=255.255.255.0:

I realize the UPS is trying to boot up/load a file -- does it boot up
from a mib file, or something like that?

Any feedback, hints, documentation would be appeciated. I'll also
     summarize.

     Jon
